A colourful catalogue full of character - and characters from Betty Boop to Winston Churchill, goes under the hammer on Friday 2nd April. Ceramics, collectors items and glass - both practical and pretty, include examples by Grayson Perry, Clarice Cliff, and Sam Herman (lot 23, his swirling art glass vase). From books to bronze, lamps, stamps and coins - standing out are lot 156 a large cast iron model of a hen, and lot 305, a Gerry Welch for Manorcraft Tudor style wooden three-storey doll''''''''s house.
This auction will be held online only. Pre-auction bids can be left via phone, on our website or at reception on viewing days. Alternatively, you can bid live on the day using the online platforms DD Live or the-saleroom.com. Payments for successful bids can be made online or over the phone (up to £500) simply and securely.
