Mougin, Paris”, striking the hours and half-hours on a bell, foliate cast bezel with bevelled convex glass, white enamel dial with upright Arabic numerals and minute track, floral garlands and gilt Louis XV hands, gilt drum case surmounted by a small ormolu bird taking flight, raised on four ringed pillars with ornate capitals on a stepped white marble plinth with ormolu mounts, paw feet and gadroon border, pendulum bob with a decorative sunburst mask, pair of matching single column candelabra on a circular marble plinth with two festooned scroll branches and lights plus ormolu mounts and swags.
