Provenance: John Lockwood (1813-1887) born in Skipton the grandson of John Prior, clockmaker of Nesfield near Ilkley, became a Wesleyan Minister. Jane Aitkin (1817-1891)   

Benjamin Hudson spent most of his working life in Sculcoates and is buried in the General Cemetery, Hull. A number of his portraits are in the Ferens Gallery, Hull.
