Description: Mid 20th century silver six piece tea service, comprising teapot, coffee pot, hot water pot, twin handled sucrier, and cream jug, each of oval form with oblique gadrooned rim, upon four ball feet, the tea, coffee and hot water pots with wooden handles and finials, and a circular salver with shaped edge and conforming oblique gadrooned rim, upon four ball and claw feet, hallmarked Mappin & Webb Ltd, Sheffield 1962, 1963, 1964 and 1969, salver D36cm, approximate gross weight 116.77 (3632 grams)
General light wear commensurate with age and use, including surface scratches and nicks.
Cover to coffee pot stiff and does not close fully unless prompted, should be easily rectified.
Hallmarks generally clear and legible, with some wear to some date letters and makers mark.
