  • An early 20th century mantle clock in a mahogany case with a break arch pediment, supported by two circular wooden columns with brass capitals, satinwood stringing and inlay to the front, moulded plinth raised on four bun feet, with a white enamel dial, upright Arabic numerals and minute markers, steel spade hands enclosed in a convex glass with a brass bezel, eight-day HAC striking movement, striking the hours and half hours on a coiled gong, with countwheel striking and a recoil escapement.
With pendulum and Key. 
*The crossed arrows trademark displayed on the gong stand of this clock represents the Hamburg American Clock Company (HAC) formed in Germany in 1873 by  Paul Landenberger and Phillipp Lang, many of their clocks were exported to England and America during the late19th and early 20th century.
