Musical & Scientific Instruments, Cameras & Maritime

14/05/2021

On 14th May, an interesting and varied catalogue goes under the hammer - starting with a small collection of Edwardian automobile brochures and followed by an assortment of scientific instruments including microscopes and drawing sets. Some really special items follow, most impressively a very rare Victorian cast-iron mechanical money box ‘The Wimbledon Bank’ estimated at £8,000 - 10,000 and an SS Titanic inquiry document dated 1912 with connection to one of the surviving crew members at £800 - 1,200, as well as other maritime collectibles including diorama, woolwork pictures, sextants etc. Leica M3 and other cameras and photographic equipment, a selection of musical instruments including French and German violins, guitars, wind instruments, and a collection of Status Quo tour memorabilia finish off a strong sale.
