Venue: Scarborough, YO11 1XN

On Saturday 12th March, a varied selection of 130 affordable artworks both traditional and contemporary will go under the hammer - including a nice collection of Dutch-style works from the 19th century (Dutch School: ‘Spirit in the Inn’, lot 4067 stands out). There are a number of interesting Aboriginal works in different mediums (lots 4076 and 4077), as well as Egyptian pieces.. In particular, the 20th-century painting ‘Woman Preparing Fish’ on papyrus by Egyptian School catches the eye! (lot 4074). If you’re looking for something a bit different, there are some nice oils by Gladys Hamilton Cooper (lots 4085 and 4086).
