Steinway & Sons, Model A 188 grand piano - introduced in 1896, serial number 101814 (1901-1902) manufactured in Hamburg, with 20 overstrung bass notes, 85 ivory and ebony keys, in a rosewood case with square tapered legs, roller repetition action with original stringing, felt, dampers and hammers, cast frame detailing numerous patents and awards 1859, 1872 and 1875, conforming lyre with sustaining and una corda pedals. This item has been registered for sale under Section 10 of the APHA Ivory Act
