Collection of 44 late 19th century brass church/musical handbells with leather straps by James Shaw Brothers of Bradford and bells marked G.W. possibly cast by the George Welch bell foundry, London.
The number of bells and stated notation, some at different pitch, is as follows;
5 “C”, 4 “D”, 5 “E”, 4 “F”, 5 “G”, 5 “A”, 6 “B”.
3 “F#”, 4 “C#”,1 “Db”, 1 “G#”, 1”A#”.
Two of the bells are minus their clappers and one bell has no leather strap.
