On 22nd May, 356 lots go under the hammer - starting with a fine selection of clocks to include a number of longcase examples. The usual rich arrangement of rugs follows, including a delightful blush pink finely knotted Persian Qom silk rug (Lot 1135), followed by a vast and varied antiques category - you won’t want to scroll past a single lot. Stand out pieces include lot 1471, a Mahogany king-size sleigh bed and a charming early 20th century walnut sideboard - part of the usual strong spread of 20th Century Design in the sale. Mirrors, modern, home electrics and machinery (for example the Ransomes Marquis 61 ride-on lawn mower, lot 1547) finish off the catalogue.
