On 22nd October, a unique mix of antique & contemporary ceramics, glass, objet d’art, lighting, collectables and decorative homewares will go under the hammer. The Decorative Antiques & Collectors Sale features collections of Moorcroft and telephones - and as always, there are many interesting lots including a 20th century mahogany artists box from Dorothea Sharps London studio (lot 237) and four volumes of History of the American people, one featuring Woodrow Wilson’s signature (lot 201). Catching the valuer’s eye is an early 20th century Bretby Art Nouveau Jardinière and stand (lot 33) and an impressive early 20th century Oriental black lacquered chest of small proportions (lot 122).
