This exceptional sculpture by Tony Morris for Poole Pottery features a leaping dolphin group, elegantly modelled over waves and tastefully mounted on a wooden base, standing at a height of 29cm.
A remarkable piece with a unique history, this model is a duplicate of a sculpture that was originally presented to Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh during their visit to Poole Pottery in 1979. The original cast was subsequently destroyed after the production of this very duplicate, making it a truly special and one-of-a-kind item.
This exquisite artwork comes with a notable provenance, having been in the collection of Arnold Smith, Chairman of Poole Potteries, adding further prestige and significance to this already exceptional piece. Don't miss the opportunity to own a piece of history with this Tony Morris for Poole Pottery leaping dolphin sculpture.
