Comoli & Nolli of Edinburgh-early 19th century Sheraton mercury barometer c1820, with a broken arch pediment, brass finial and round base, mahogany case with stringing to the edge, oval conche and round petal inlay, with a boxed surface mounted mercury thermometer and silvered 8" register, profusely engraved centre recording barometric air pressure from 28 to 31 inches with predictions, steel indicating hand and brass recording hand within a glazed cast brass bezel. Comoli & Nolli were quality barometer makers forming a partnership at 82 St Mary's Wynd, Edinburgh from 1820-75.

Discover this exquisite early 19th-century Sheraton mercury barometer crafted by Comoli & Nolli of Edinburgh around 1820. The barometer features a distinctive broken arch pediment, brass finial, and round base, all housed in a stunning mahogany case adorned with stringing to the edge.

Notice the elegant details such as the oval conche and round petal inlay, adding a touch of sophistication to this piece. The barometer also includes a boxed surface-mounted mercury thermometer and a silvered 8" register.
