English-mid 19th Century four-glass rosewood wheel barometer c1850, with a 10" silvered register, surface mounted spirit thermometer, hygrometer and level bubble engraved with the retailers name "Cetti of Dudley" edge of case inlaid with mother of pearl inlay, with a swan necked pediment, brass finial, and square base, register with a steel indicating hand and brass recording hand, measuring barometric air pressure from 28 to 31 inches , with predictions. CETTI is recorded as an Italian barometer maker working in Dudley (Birmingham) from 1835-55.
