Jaeger Le Coultre- Atmos Clock, "Embassy" model No 5904 manufactured in 1972, gilt lacquered rectangular case with red lacquered sides and dial plate, with a silvered chapter, black engraved Roman numerals and gilt brass counterbalanced moon hands, with original paperwork and manufacturers instructions, no outer case. Atmos clocks employ a torsion suspension rotary pendulum driven by a mainspring wound via a sealed chamber containing gaseous ethyl chloride which responds to the slightest change in temperature and air pressure. Even an imperceptible change in air pressure or temperature is sufficient to drive the clock, hence the clocks never need to be manually wound.

This Jaeger Le Coultre Atmos Clock, known as the "Embassy" model No 5904, was expertly crafted in 1972. Its elegant design features a gilt lacquered rectangular case with striking red lacquered sides and dial plate. The clock boasts a silvered chapter, complemented by black engraved Roman numerals and gilt brass counterbalanced moon hands.
