Early 19th century Grand Piano by John Broadwood & Son, London serial No 7695, 1820.
Early straight strung Regency Grand Piano, part re-furbished and re-strung, soundboard with some small cracks, bridges good, action and damping responsive but requirering adjustment in places, English grand action with a six octave keyboard, with 73 keys C1-C7, with Ivory naturals and ebony sharps, Lyre with sustain and una-chorda pedals, satinwood case with ebony inlay and crossbanding, adjustable open lattice music desk, raised on four turned legs with castors. In 1818 two years before this piano was manufactured, a similar piano of this design was presented to Beethoven by Thomas Broadwood.

It is an early straight strung Regency Grand Piano that has undergone partial refurbishment and restrung. The soundboard displays minor cracks, yet the bridges are in good condition. The action and damping mechanisms are responsive but may require adjustments in some areas. This English grand piano features a six-octave keyboard with 73 keys from C1 to C7, showcasing Ivory naturals and ebony sharps. The Lyre includes sustain and una-chorda pedals, set in a satinwood case with ebony inlay and crossbanding.
