The Antique and Decorative Objects Sale offers a well-balanced selection of ceramics, glass, metalwork and decorative accessories, bringing together established makers, collectable limited editions and characterful period pieces.
Ceramics include a finely painted Royal Worcester cabinet plate by Richard Sebright, richly decorated with fruit and gilt on a cobalt ground, alongside a striking Wedgwood ‘Dancing Hours’ jasperware urn, combining neoclassical white relief figures against a contrasting black basalt body. Figurative ceramics are represented by a lively Beswick hunting group, featuring huntsmen, hounds and foxes.
Decorative works extend to metal and wood, including an 18th-century carved oak desk box with scrolling foliate detail, and a bronze plaque after William Blake, depicting Elohim Creating Adam. Glass features prominently with Swarovski limited-edition sculptures, including the dramatic Wild Horses group and an Endangered Wildlife tiger and cubs set.
The section is completed by an American 20th-century Franklin Mint four-glass mantel clock, with visible escapement and architectural brass case, adding both mechanical and decorative appeal.
With something to suit collectors and interior decorators alike, now is the time to browse the catalogue and place your bids before the sale closes.
