The Affordable Art Sale brings together a carefully selected group of original works, offering the opportunity to acquire named and traditional artists at accessible price levels. The catalogue spans oils, watercolours and acrylics, with subjects ranging from landscape and architecture to still life and everyday rural scenes.
Highlights include a cheerful coastal scene by Michelle Saunders, a 19th-century river landscape with mill and bridge by Charles France, and a warmly atmospheric Boating at Sunset by Edgar Longstaffe, dated 1891. Architectural and town views are represented by George Moore-Henton’s detailed Leicester street scene, while floral painting features in a richly worked still life by Catherine Mary Wood.
More contemporary interest is added by Peter Bell’s view across rooftops, alongside a charming group of Continental School paintings depicting chickens feeding, offering decorative appeal and versatility for modern interiors.
