Our Persian & Oriental Rugs & Carpets Sale brings together a richly varied selection of hand-knotted carpets and rugs, alongside flatweave kilims and runners, offering plenty to explore for both established collectors and those looking for a striking interior piece. The catalogue spans classic workshop and village weavings through to more tribal, geometric designs. Expect a strong range of floral vine and medallion compositions in soft, harmonious palettes, balanced by bolder pieces with angular motifs, stepped medallions and repeating boteh patterns. There’s also a good mix of formats – from room-sized carpets to versatile runners, with plenty of options suited to halls, landings and smaller spaces. Across the sale, the emphasis is on decorative impact and traditional craftsmanship, with intricate borders, dense patterning and warm, saturated colours that continue to make these rugs highly sought after for the home.
