Our forthcoming Affordable Art sale offers an engaging mix of paintings, prints and works on paper, bringing together traditional subjects, contemporary compositions and decorative modern pieces at accessible levels.
The catalogue ranges widely in style and mood, from the atmospheric landscape of Tom Harland’s Snow Flurries to the classical architectural interest of Francis Wilson’s Temple of Venus de Roma. Sporting and equestrian themes also feature, including a 19th century engraving after Edward Francis Burney, while figurative and interior-led works add further variety.
Contemporary art is well represented, with works such as Andrea Boorman’s Orange Rooftops and Jacquie Jones’s large-scale XL Racing Study bringing bold colour and energy to the sale. Decorative modern prints also appear throughout, including Gary Benfield’s Elegance, while more traditional tastes are served by pieces such as a watercolour after Henry Stacy Marks and a substantial oil after Chen Yifei.
With its broad range of styles, subjects and sizes, the sale offers something for both new buyers and established collectors, whether seeking a striking statement piece or a smaller work with decorative charm.
