Our forthcoming Antiques & Decorative Objects sale brings together an appealing mix of ceramics, glass, books and decorative pieces, offering a varied selection suited to both collectors and those looking to add interest to their interiors.
Ceramics feature strongly, with highlights including a Quentin Bell ribbed vase decorated in a bold abstract design, a charming Rosemary Wren stoneware cat, and a striking Clarice Cliff Bizarre ‘Blue Autumn’ vase, alongside a selection of 19th century Minton dessert plates with finely detailed decoration. Glassware ranges from a delicate Victorian bon bon dish and cover with hand-painted floral detail to sets of Edinburgh Crystal, while more contemporary pieces such as the Swarovski Paradise Birds Macaw add a different note to the sale.
Smaller decorative items provide further variety, including a Tunbridge ware desk stand, a 19th century inlaid tea caddy and a group of Halcyon Days enamel boxes, each with its own character. The sale is rounded out by collectable books, notably an edition of the Kelmscott Chaucer, offering additional appeal for bibliophiles.
Overall, the catalogue presents a well-balanced selection of decorative antiques and collectables, combining craftsmanship, design and accessible collecting across a wide range of tastes.
