Albert George Stevens, a member of the Staithes Group, was active from 1863 to 1925, and his works often depict scenes of rural life with a focus on nature and everyday activities.
This piece comes with provenance from a private collection, having been purchased through David Duggleby Ltd on the 16th of June 2023 as part of Lot 290.
