Discover an enchanting piece of British art by Steven Scholes (1952-2026), a renowned Northern British artist. This stunning oil on canvas captures the essence of 'Mosley Street - Manchester 1905'. Signed by the artist and titled verso, this artwork measures 50cm x 60cm.
This remarkable painting comes with a fascinating provenance, directly from the family of the artist. It is believed that, like other pieces in this auction, this work was left unfinished upon the artist's passing. Interestingly, the fact that it is signed and titled suggests that Scholes may have intentionally opted for a looser and more impressionistic style than his usual precise technique.
Don't miss the opportunity to own a piece of history and add this captivating artwork to your collection. Bid now and make it yours at the upcoming auction with Duggleby Auctioneers.
