The first part of the Penny Wicks studio collection, comprising 20 lots of local views, still lifes and abstract works in a variety of media. An excellent selection of modern prints by renowned artists such as John Brunsdon, Norman Ackroyd, Richard Bawden and Lee Crew. Five works by Leslie Fotherby, all purchased by the vendor from Chris Beetles. As usual, around 20 local paintings by Robert Sheader, Edward H Simpson, David C Bell, Peter Gerald Baker, and others.
