Join us for our Militaria, Medals & Sporting Guns sale, bringing together a compelling range of historic weapons, military decorations, uniforms, badges and associated ephemera, spanning the 17th century through to the Second World War and later conflicts.

Early material includes an evocative circa 1800 flintlock ladies’ muff pistol by Grierson of London, gunmaker to His Majesty, alongside a rare and important silver-gilt Royalist badge of Charles I by Thomas Rawlins, combining political history with fine craftsmanship. Sporting and personal arms are complemented by a selection of militaria reflecting service life and regimental identity, including British military cap badges and buttons from a variety of units.

The medal section features named and attributed groups with strong personal histories, from Second World War service medals and RAF casualty groups with photographs and documents, to a Korean War medal trio accompanied by an ERII pattern sword and related ephemera. Particularly moving are items connected to individual stories, such as a WWI death plaque to a young officer killed in action, and medals awarded to figures whose wartime contributions extended into civilian life.

Additional interest is found in wartime artefacts and artwork, including RAF flying goggles, portraits of officers, and drawings created in a prisoner of war camp, offering a more intimate insight into military experience beyond the battlefield.

With a broad spread of periods, conflicts and collecting themes, this sale offers something for historians, collectors and enthusiasts alike — browse the catalogue and place your bids now.
