Our latest Antique & Decorative Objects auction brings together a varied and characterful collection of ceramics, sculpture, decorative arts and unusual interior pieces spanning the 19th century to the present day.

Among the highlights is a striking Moorcroft ‘Bullers Wood’ vase designed by Rachel Bishop, richly decorated with flowers and produced as a limited edition, alongside a charming 19th century Meissen figure of a gallant on a gilded base. Continental ceramics continue with an impressive Nymphenburg coffee set painted with First World War military scenes after Hans Kratzer, while a colourful Gien faience tea and dinner service in the ‘Oiseaux de Paradis’ pattern offers classic French decorative appeal.

Sculptural works feature strongly throughout the sale, including a bronze bust by Brian Elton in the Art Nouveau taste and a large bronze frog sculpture by Nishan Toor. Decorative accessories range from a carved Mouseman oak nut bowl bearing the distinctive mouse signature of the Robert Thompson workshop, to a set of graduated carved and lacquered ornamental turtles bringing a more playful decorative element to the collection.

Collectors of advertising and industrial pieces will also find interest in a Kingsford fire extinguisher with original printed decoration, alongside a broader offering of curiosities, ceramics, metalware and furnishing accessories throughout the auction.

With an engaging mix of decorative statement pieces, collectable ceramics and distinctive objects for the home, the sale offers plenty to appeal to both seasoned collectors and interior enthusiasts alike. Browse the full catalogue and place your bids now.
