Adrian Batty’s astonishing private model railway collection goes up for auction on 23rd September in Scarborough. The fine collection is the result of three decades of serious collecting and includes over 130 locomotives, thousands of carriages, wagons and items of rolling stock, trackside accessories and buildings - almost all boxed, and some of them now very rare indeed. It spans the entire twenty-year Hornby Dublo period, with the addition of one or two items of 0-gauge clockwork Hornby and a few pieces of post-Dublo model railway.
