Charles Bronson (Charles Arthur Salvador) (British 1952-): A comprehensive collection of five hundred mixed media works executed between 2000 and 2025. Produced during the artist’s long-term incarceration, the works are primarily in ink, coloured pencil and mixed media on paper. The collection includes multiple formats: A5 (15 works), A4 (308 works), A3 (164 works) and A2 (13 works). Some are signed and dated; a number are executed on the reverse of official prison documents and other repurposed materials, reflecting the limited availability of art materials within the prison environment. This collection represents the largest body of the artist’s work to be offered as a single lot and has not previously been available on the market. (500) (unframed) Notes: Dated examples span the period from 2000 to 2025, with the greatest concentration produced between 2012 and 2019 and including a group of recent large-scale works from the final years of the period; approximately twenty percent are undated.
