A German musical alarm clock (model 1523/24) made by the Hamburg Amerikanische Uhrenfabrik c1880, in an oak case with an architectural top and finial, two-part dial with a gilt centre, ivorine chapter and steel spade hands, with roman numerals and minute track, case raised on four bun feet, with a thirty-hour balance wheel pin pallet spring driven movement sounding the alarm on a musical movement, key wound and set from the rear. Compete with three different and changeable musical movements in their original box. These clocks would have been sold as here with separate musical movements, it is rare to find them with the original clock. H30 W17 D11
