Vincenzo Maria Coronelli engraved plan of York, ‘Yorke Eboracum’, published in *Teatro della Guerra* around 1706. This early eighteenth-century map depicts the walled city and surrounding landscape, with a title cartouche at upper right, and is derived from John Speed’s earlier survey. It measures 15 × 19 cm and is unframed.
The catalogue notes describe the plan as exceedingly scarce: *The Catalogue of British Town Maps* records one institutional example, at the Bodleian Library, Oxford (CBTM 22115). The present example retains an earlier dealer’s label citing Nordenskiöld, Armao, Shirley and other bibliographical references. A distinctive historical map for collectors of York, British town plans and early cartography, offered for sale at auction by Duggleby Auctioneers.
