An 18th century oak cased longcase clock by M Thomas & Sons, Carnarvon c1780, flat topped hood with a wide cornice and plain frieze, glazed hood door flanked by two shaped pillars, with a long trunk and door with a break arch top, with canted and reeded corners on a short plinth with a raised conforming break arch panel and skirting, 13” brass dial with an engraved centre, small semi-circular date aperture and disc behind, with a subsidiary seconds dial, non-matching steel hands and scroll spandrels, Engraved chapter ring with roman numerals, five minute Arabic's and minute markers, dial pinned directly to an eight day rack striking movement, striking the hours on a cast bell. With weights, pendulum and key.
