5.00pm.
Valuations for Sale by Auction
Items can be brought in person to the saleroom or should they be too numerous or
too large one of our valuers will call at your home. This is arranged free of charge
to clients who may wish to consign items for sale by auction. Also see our Selling page.
Valuations for Probate
Probate valuations are prepared for executors to enable estates to be settled and
for tax purposes in accordance with S160 Inheritance Tax Act 1984. Often prior to
House Clearances.
Valuations for Insurance purposes
Most people have some form of insurance for the contents of their homes without
really knowing the true value of the items. Clients with antiques collections accumulated
over several years should beware of being under insured. We can provide economical
inventories with up to date values in a continually changing market. Valuations
include digital images for easy identification where appropriate. These valuations
can then be updated at regular intervals for minimal cost.

We also provide valuations for Family Division and Tax Purposes.
