Early 19th century mahogany longcase clock, hood with swan neck pediment and checkered inlays, stepped arch glazed door enclosed by fluted columns with gilt metal capitals, figured trunk door with boxwood stringing, on ogee bracket feet, brass dial with cast gilt metal spandrels, silvered Roman chapter ring, subsidiary seconds dial, triple weight driven chiming 8-day movement, with Wittington/Westminster and chime/silent levers, chiming the quarters and striking the hours on series of eight bells and single coil, pull repeater, H243cm Provenance - with original receipt from Geo. Bradley & Sons, Scarborough 1918 to Mr. James Johnson of Scarborough.
