Description: 1920's silver vase, of tapering cylindrical form, the spreading rim and filled base with Monteith style castellated edge, hallmarked Stokes & Ireland Ltd, Chester 1926, H20cm, together with a smaller silver filled specimen vase with lobed rim, hallmarked Clark & Sewell, Birmingham 1910, H13.5cm, (2)

Condition Report:

Gross weight 17.42 ozt (542 grams). Larger example in good overall condition, with surface scratches, some small nicks and a couple of small indentations. Maker's mark partially worn, but hallmarks still legible. Smaller example also with surface scratches, and a number of small but pronounced indentations, visible solder repairs where vase meets base, and vase unsteady on base. Hallmarks worn in places but still legible.
