Provenance: by descent through the artist's family; removed from the artist's cabinet, to be sold in the Country House Sale, Saturday 16th March 2024 Lot 1267. The etchings were commissioned for Queen Mary's Dolls' House. Sold together with a letter from Princess Marie Louise to the artist dated September 11 1922 requesting the production of a drawing to be included in a portfolio in the King's Library. Featured on the Antiques Roadshow, Series 35, Scarborough Grand Spa Hall, 16th November 2012.
