Joseph Ridley Ratcliffe McCulloch RBA (British 1893-1961): 'York Minster', pen watercolour and gouache signed titled and dated 1949, 54cm x 36cm Notes and Provenance: McCulloch draughtsman, watercolourist, printmaker and teacher born and educated in Leeds at Brudenell School Hyde Park, gained a diploma at the Royal College of Art in 1912. Taught at Ipswich School of Art and life drawing at Goldsmiths' College of Art 1941-1950. Unfortunately came to a sad end, reportedly selling papers and matches on the London streets; this work exh.
