  • Group of 19th century glass, comprising smoke bell with folded rim, H25cm, fly catcher, H18cm, lace makers lamp with globular reservoir upon a baluster stem and circular spreading foot, H26cm, and frigger in the form of a bugle, H20.5cm

Description: Group of 19th century glass, comprising smoke bell with folded rim, H25cm, fly catcher, H18cm, lace makers lamp with globular reservoir upon a baluster stem and circular spreading foot, H26cm, and frigger in the form of a bugle, H20.5cm

Condition Report:

All have typical surface wear, including surface scratches and some deeper, some scuffs and nibbles to edges, and production flaws. The fly catcher has losses around the inner part of the neck where the stopper sits. The stopper fits well and does appear to conform to the shape of the feet, although as it is in such good condition in comparison with the inner part of the neck it may possibly be a replacement. The bugle has a number of small losses and nibble to the ‘mouth piece’ and a number of losses to the edge of the trumpet.
