A few knocks, indentations and nicks throughout. Part of dove detail missing to one side. Side panels of bases lighter in colour than the rest of the box. Interior would benefit from a clean. Silver flatware with general wear commensurate with age and use, including varying degrees of scratches, in particular to prongs and bowls. Some bowls are slightly worn/slightly sharper to edges, and some prongs of forks and slightly bent, however this is not significant. No visible signs of soldering. Light tarnishing. Hallmarks clear and legible. Ivory handled knifes and carving set with scratches, and some blades and prongs with corrosion type wear and some slight pitting. Carving steel and carving knife with splits to ivory handles. A few monograms to ivory handled examples worn and slightly faded.
