Pair of modern Guild of Hull Silversmiths silver goblets, the bowls each of tapering cylindrical form, with spot hammered finish, upon a tapering foot, etched with abstract lines, hallmarked J & KR, Birmingham 1983, also marked with the three crowns mark of the Guild of Hull Silversmiths, H11.6cm
Notes: Abraham Barachin was the last Hull silversmith to use the Hull mark of three ducal coronets in around 1706. However in 1983 the Assay Offices of Great Britain and the City of Kingston upon Hull granted the Guild of Hull Silversmiths permission to use the City's Coat of Arms as an additional mark on pieces they produced
