Late 19th century - 8-day mahogany longcase clock c1870, with a swan necked pediment and brass paterie, break arch hood door beneath flanked by ring turned pilasters and shaped back splats, inlaid trunk with a short door and canted corners, broad plinth with inlay and shaped feet, painted dial with abstract floral spandrels and a romantic evening scene to the break arch, with Roman numerals, minute markers, date and second dials, makers name indistinct, stamped brass hands with date and seconds pointers, dial pinned directly to a rack striking movement with a recoil anchor escapement.
