Late 18th century and later inlaid mahogany longcase clock, the stepped arched dentil cornice over a blind fret work frieze, enclosed by glazed door with trailing boxwood band flanked by two fluted pilaster columns with Corinthian capitals, brass and silvered dial with painted tide and moon phase, the arched register inscribed 'Hight water at Bristol Key', silvered Roman chapter ring inscribed 'Thos. (Thomas) Williams, Axbridge', triple train driven movement, chiming the quarters on eight bells and striking the hours on coil, silent chime lever and eight four bell lever, the dial decorated with engraved scrolled foliage and ornate urn cast spandrels, canted trunk with fluted corners flanking shaped stepped arched door with large shell motif inlay, the matching base on bracket feet
