As always, the Decorative Antiques & Collectors Sale on the morning of 3rd December boasts a broad and unique range of antique & contemporary ceramics, glass, objet d’art, lighting, collectables and decorative homewares. The 240 lots begin with a strong selection of ceramics including some nice Moorcroft examples, as well as three late 18th/early 19th-century Chinese export hot water plates decorated with pagodas, islands and huts (lot 13). There are some eye-catching limited edition Beatles Yellow Submarine ceramics, designed by Paul Smith and made for Thomas Goode (lots 20-22) and the usual unique array of objects including a religious painted plaster sculpture of Mary with a crown (lot 79).
