Great Train Robbery; Metropolitan Police printed poster, 'The Assistance of the public is sought to trace the whereabouts of the after described persons .....', printed by Wavell Press Ltd, 1963 Provenance by vendor repute: The poster was given to the vendor in 1985 by a colleague who was previously a detective sergeant of the Metropolitan Police, who had as a junior officer and worked on the case of the Great Train Robbery. The hand written dates they were written on the poster when they were arrested
