Lloyd Payne & Amiel - Parisian early 20th century four glass mantle clock c1905, with a Samuel Marti 8-day two train movement and twin file mercury pendulum, cast brass case with a flat top and dentil cornice beneath, decorative applied frieze supported by four tulip columns with capitals, conforming stepped plinth raised on pad feet with acanthus leaf motifs, gilt dial with a decorative and pierced centre, Arabic numerals within circular cartouche, steel fleur di Lis hands and embossed bezel, rack striking movement, striking the hours and half hours on a coiled gong.
