Lenzkirch – 8-day walnut cased weight driven Vienna regulator manufactured 1877-1878, with a break-arch pediment surmounted by a turned finial on a raised cavetto molding, fully glazed arched door flanked by long ring turned pendants, flat base with open fretwork and two short pendants, two piece enamel dial within a brass slip, Roman numerals, minute track and pierced steel hands, wooden pendulum with a brass faced bob, two brass cased weights and pulleys, dead beat escapement with a rack striking movement sounding the hours and half hours on a coiled gong, movement serial number 421410. Lenzkirch were one of Germanys most highly respected clock manufacturers of the 19th century, founded in the late 1850s the company produced movements and cases of high quality up until 1932.

William & Mary floral marquetry 8-day longcase clock c 1700, later mid-18th century four pillar rack striking movement with a square brass dial and subsidiary seconds dial, ringed winding holes and calendar aperture to the matted dial centre, with London cherub head cast spandrels and (later) fretted steel hands, silvered Roman numeral chapter ring with stylised fleur di Lis half hour makers, narrow Arabic five-minutes, minute track and inner quarter hour track, signed Thomas Horlock, Hammersmith, case with box upstand to the domed floral marquetry decorated caddy with three brass flame finials, above a moulded cornice and fretwork frieze, inlaid hood door with attached barley twist pillars to the front above an inlaid convex moulding, full length D moulded trunk door with a circular lenticle inlaid with floral and foliage panels inhabited with birds, on a conforming marquetry plinth with applied double skirting. Thomas Horlock is recorded as a Whitesmith & Clockmaker of Hammersmith, Middlesex. A copy of Thomas Horlock's will dated the 15th June 1757 is held at The National Archives Kew.

With pendulum, weights and key. The Lister family were a prolific family of clockmakers working in the West Riding of Yorkshire during the 18th century. Working in various locations including Halifax, Keighley and Luddenden. William Lister (I) is recorded as working in Keighley from 1715-37 and his son William (II) from 1735-1785.
